Wholeness
Wholeness is a Shopify theme for stores whose products come in variants, sizes and packs, such as supplements, wellness products and clothing. This documentation explains how to set it up and how each part works.
Two styles
Wholeness comes with two styles. Both are the same theme, with the same sections and settings; each is designed for a type of store, with its own colors and starting settings. You choose one when you add the theme, and you can change it later (see Choose or change the style).
Wholeness
For supplements and wellness products. Calm greens on a warm off-white, product pages that show pack offers with the price per unit, a guide to your ingredients, and benefits with icons.
Weaveform
For clothing and accessories. Neutral tones that let the photos lead, sizes and color dots on every product card, shopping by color, a showcase that switches between products for her and for him, and a guide to your fabrics.
Main features
Every feature described in this documentation works with Shopify alone. Filters and complementary products are set up in Shopify’s own Search & Discovery app.
Product pages
- A product page built from blocks you arrange in the theme editor: title, price, variant picker, buy buttons, pickup availability, description, complementary products, custom Liquid and app blocks.
- A variant picker that adapts to the product: cards for one option, pack offers with the price per unit and the saving for two options, and one row per option for three.
- Shopify’s color swatches, a gallery that moves to each variant’s image, unit prices, and a buy bar that stays at the bottom of the screen on phones.
- Gift cards that shoppers can send to someone else by email.
Product cards
- Sizes, weights or quantities over the picture: one tap adds that variant to the cart.
- Color dots under the picture that switch the photo to that color.
- Pictures of any size: the card fills its frame or shows the whole picture, whichever suits the picture.
Collections and search
- Shopify’s native filters and sorting on collection pages and, if you want them, on the search page.
- Remembered filters: a choice such as gender or audience stays applied as the shopper browses.
- Shop by color tiles that open a collection filtered by one color.
- Predictive search in the header.

Cart
- A cart drawer or a cart page, with an order note and product suggestions.
Sections for your home page and campaigns
- A hero with pictures or videos, separate media for phones, and slides.
- Collection tabs, product slides, a product line-up, a video carousel, scrolling text, a countdown bar, a material guide, certificates and more.
Accessibility and motion
- Menus, tabs, carousels, filters and the cart work with a keyboard and with screen readers.
- Anything that moves on its own can be paused, and it stands still for visitors who ask their device for reduced motion.
Where to start
- Getting started: add the theme, choose a style and find your way around the theme editor.
